Hi my name is Aimee and 3 Yellow Doors is a blog that I created to share a little insight to my crazy go-round life. I am a do it yourself kinda gal, crafting is my meditation. I am a hippie at heart. I love sunshine, iced tea and crocheting. I am a mother, a wife, a friend, a daughter, a painter, a photographer, a crafter, a vintage lover, a thrifter, a bargain hunter, a decorator, a furniture refinisher, a small business owner, but most of all I am in love with my life and everything about it. Hope you enjoy my blog <3

Burlap Wreath Project

My Friday night project: Well I currently have some sick kiddos that are getting their rest so we can head out to California tomorrow night. So bed time tonight was early. Since I have cleaned, and packed up almost everything, I decided to take out a hobby lobby bag from the closet, full of fun diy craft projects.

I have been meaning to get to this burlap wreath for months, but there always seems to be something. So tonight was finally the night. I was amazingly surprised with how fast this wreath went. I honestly want to make a couple more of these and just add a couple of flowers and decor on the other ones. We'll see ;)

Well here is the process of how to make a burlap wreath:

All you need is a wire wreath, and some burlap ribbon or garland. Depending on what size you prefer.

You start by threading the burlap in and out of the wires, making sure to mix up the direction and twist and turn along the way. It helps if you bunch it altogether to make it full. Make sure to double check and make sure all the wire is covered along the way. I was able to tuck all ends underneath and in the holes.

I then tied some twine at the top to make it easier to hang on the hook and the wreath was complete.

I think it was the perfect little addition to our pantry door :) I love how it turned out!

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you all have a fabulous weekend!

Aimee
